School has started..

No more holidays, no more sleeping at 4am.

Sidenote: all the sites I’m currently hosting are moved onto CloudFlare. Enjoy~

I slept for 20 hours yesterday. Hotel Michael was okay. Not as good as I expected, but not too shabby as well. The night wasn’t the best one could spend a night. I watched TV from like 2am to 11am? Hahaha. Funny how the same cartoon plays throughout, WITH NO CHANGE. Made it through like 2-3 arcs of Ben Ten woooohoooo~

Like any other chalet/hotel stays, I got little to no sleep. Even so, the next day I went to play soccer at punggol with the same people as the recent post. The day was ok. I was not tired at all despite the little amount of sleep I got. HOWEVER, I sprained my leg before we even got started with the game proper. And when we did, my already injured ankle got hit NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE!!

Nonetheless, the pain was bearable and I of course continued to play. At the end of the day, I ended up limping my way to the car and home. My ankle is swollen, srsly. But it got better than it was yesterday. I can at least walk more naturally (although I’m still limping minimally).

I’m going to get some sleep now. I hope my FYP supervisor replies me soon. I forgot to send him an e-mail during the weekend and now my meeting with him to discuss my project title is delayed yet again. I will be 1 month x 8 hours a day behind everyone. That will amount to a whooping 160 hours. D:

Will have to work doubly hard from now, and hope my ankle recovers soon. Wouldn’t want to try going to school (so much walking involved!) with this!

Was at Punggol (Rivera) AGAIN! Hah! Played street soccer for like 4-5 hours today! First we played at Buangkok but we shifted to Punggol in view ok KM/Chris/Sean’s arrival. Thanks to the 3 nice guys for buying us drinks! Surprisingly, they (who rarely play soccer) said the cost of pitch booking ($8 each x 12 people = $95 per hour) was affordable.

It was fun while we were at it, but all I felt was fatigue after. I am aching from head to toe. Overstretched myself probably.

Will be going there again – probably tomorrow? To play pool w the dudes and shun bian collect money from Joey (or so he says).

My body is calling out to me to get some rest now – and so I will. Toodles~

After looking at several awesome portfolio sites, I feel very inspired to redo mine into a custom design. I mean I have 2 weeks more till school reopens, and my hosting provider providing Singapore hosting really makes me feel good about my hunch.

I am not sure if I will have the time to do freelance work once school reopens, but I certainly can give it a go. As of right now, I am clueless as to what theme to style my sites in. Seriously, this sounds like procrastinating but every beautiful color palette have already been utilised and tried on designs.

If I do work on a redesign (for this site), I definitely expect alot out of it, and for that matter, will spend as much time as I like on it ^^

Another noteworthy thing to add is that I am absolutely excited about teaching (i hope?) huiyi a little about photoshop. HOPEFULLY, she will be able to suggest me a theme for the redesign, since her tastes are pretty much similar to mine, and I feel she has a keen eye ^^. I know I am objective, CAN’T HELP IT.

Having said that, I thought it was Childrens’ Day on 1st October, but Raenes quickly proved me wrong D: I swear my sister (who is still a child – and is celebrating Childrens’ Day this year) told me that it was Childrens’ Day! But a quick 5 seconds on google embarrassed me D:

It’s October. Fuck yeah!

This is my favourite month of the year, because it’s my BURFDAY~ For that, I will be spending 8 October with friends at a hotel in Sentosa. W00t. Thanks mum and aunt for being steadfast and awesome about it! Sad part about it is I’m only getting 1D1N, which is perfectly fine!

Don’t get me wrong, it is actually for accommodation and nothing dirty! Haha. But yea, point is, I’m still deciding on who to call. Don’t want the place to be overcrowded if possible.

With that said, I’ve paid for the hosting, and I THINK I should make use of this blog at least. More action to come (hopefully, no promises).

Didn’t have holidays this march; NONE AT ALL. Instead, I was attached (kinda? for final year project) to EWT-COI in Ngee Ann Poly. The ‘working hours’ everyday is 8.30 to 6, which I felt was lame, unfair, and unreasonable for FYP students. But the supervisers think so otherwise, so I’ll have to live with it. Life in there is a chore! Nothing to do but get scolded when you do nothing. DERP.

Apart from school, been busy with driving too! It’s hell a lot of fun! Only 3rd lesson so far though, and I didn’t get the instructor’s stamp/chop this morning, because he claims I don’t switch gears when I have to – instead, I do it too late. OH WELL. I waited about 2 hours for my PDL, and I got no chop on first lesson. QQ. *needs more practice*

Next lesson will be next sunday. Oh god how I wish there will be slots on 15 april. I’M SICK OF PAYING PEAK RATES!

So, I’ve been rummaging through the Internet for reviews and whatnot, for nearly 2 weeks, so as to get the best bang for buck components. Apparently, my father won’t listen to my reasoning, so I’ll probably get an earful when he gets home. But oh well, it’s a worthy investment in my opinon, considering I have nothing else to do at home and spend most of the time with my PC, this will  be good for the next 3-5 years, that’s <$1 a day :V

There is something I have to mention, and will strongly recommend. Instead of spending hours of your day shopping in Sim Lim Square (SLS), you can alternatively contact Ivan or PM him – fortran on HWZ Singapore. He will not only recommend you based on your budget/needs, he will also advise you if you ask questions. I spent a lot of time asking a whole lot of noob questions, but he was rather patient with me. To add, he is friendly and knows his stuff.

He arrived at my place before 10A.M, which was the time he said he would arrive. For a person located on the other side of the island, I must say, he is really punctual and did a good job finding his way to my address

Again, he passed me a power chord, and advised that I use the one he provided, because this draws more power than my previous HP OEM; better safe than sorry. I am thankful for that. He also insisted that he help me with plugging in the cables, and kudos to that for the initiative.

Basically, I have 0 complain when it comes to his services. I give him a two thumbs up for being awesome, and again STRONGLY RECOMMEND anyone who is deciding to get a PC to purchase from him!
